Cognition launched SWE-1.7, its most capable software engineering model, achieving frontier-level intelligence at a significantly lower cost, advancing the cost-performance Pareto curve. Optimised for long-horizon asynchronous tasks, SWE-1.7 is available in Devin via Cerebras at 1000 TPS. On FrontierCode 1.1 Main, it scored a 42.3% pass rate, outperforming its Kimi K2.7 base (30.1%) and SWE-1.6 (9.4%). It also achieved 81.5% on Terminal-Bench 2.1 and 77.8% on SWE-Bench Multilingual.
