What happened
Meta launched Muse Image, its first image generation tool from Meta Superintelligence Labs, integrated into the Meta AI app. This tool uses Muse Spark for AI reasoning, a system that replaced earlier Llama models, to interpret text prompts, search the web for context, and plan image creation. Meta states Muse Image also powers new creative experiences across Instagram and WhatsApp, with over 30 AI-powered effects for Instagram Stories and direct chat image generation in WhatsApp, initially in limited countries.
