What happened
Block, led by Jack Dorsey, launched Buzz, an open-source workspace integrating employees, AI agents, conversations, and Git repositories into a single identity system. Built on a self-hostable Nostr relay, Buzz uses cryptographically signed events for all actions, enabling agents to participate as first-class members with capabilities like code review and workflow execution. The Apache 2.0 licensed platform, currently at version 0.4.21 for desktop, aims to reduce reliance on separate tools like Slack and GitHub.
