Amazon has revealed its next generation of Echo devices, designed to leverage the capabilities of its Alexa+ AI assistant. The new lineup includes the Echo Dot Max, Echo Studio, Echo Show 8, and Echo Show 11, all equipped with upgraded silicon and advanced features. These devices promise more personalised and proactive AI experiences.
The Echo Dot Max features enhanced conversation detection and improved wake-word recognition. The Echo Studio boasts support for Dolby Atmos and spatial audio. The Echo Show 8 and 11 include upgraded HD displays and enhanced sound, with the ability to recognise users via their 13-megapixel cameras. The new devices are integrated with the 'Omnisense' system, enabling Alexa to better understand the environment and offer more personalised responses.
All four devices are available for pre-order, with the Echo Dot Max and Echo Studio shipping on October 29th, and the Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 11 on November 12th. The Echo Dot Max is priced at $99.99, the Echo Studio at $219.99, the Echo Show 8 at $179.99, and the Echo Show 11 also at $219.99.
