The company is constructing gigawatt-scale, AI-ready data centres powered by green energy, with the first location already underway in Jamnagar. These data centres will support AI training and inference at a national scale. Reliance plans to collaborate with leading technology firms and open-source communities to deliver high-performance, compliant AI solutions. The AI services will target consumers, small businesses, and enterprises, with applications in education, healthcare, and agriculture. Reliance also aims to cultivate a world-class team of AI researchers, engineers, and product builders.
Reliance's AI strategy includes partnerships with Google Cloud to establish an AI-focused cloud region in Jamnagar, powered by Reliance's green energy initiatives. This collaboration will enable the development of high-performance, AI-first services for various organisations. Morgan Stanley analysts estimate that Reliance's investments in AI infrastructure and green energy could increase its market value by $50 billion.
