What happened
Cloudflare announced a reduction of 1,100 employees, 20% of its 5,156-person workforce. CEO Matthew Prince and COO Michelle Zatlyn stated internal AI usage surged over 600% in three months, with employees across all departments running "thousands of AI agent sessions daily".
