ICS Hosts AI Values Dialogue

ICS Hosts AI Values Dialogue

13 March 2026

What happened

The Institute of Career Studies (ICS) and Avadh Girls' Degree College convened the Tehrim Dass Memorial Annual Dialogue in Lucknow, bringing together educators, legal experts, and industry leaders. Participants discussed human values in the AI age; ICS founder director Amrita Dass stated "AI-driven change must be guided by emotional, social and spiritual intelligence." Former Uttar Pradesh additional advocate general Bulbul Godiyal emphasised justice still depends on human discernment and ethical judgment.

Why it matters

Human discernment acts as a critical constraint for AI systems, particularly in legal and ethical applications. For CTOs and product architects, this reinforces the need for explicit human oversight mechanisms, as legal experts assert justice still requires ethical judgment. The discussion underscores that AI's utility depends on guidance from emotional, social, and spiritual intelligence, shaping future design priorities beyond technical capability.
