What happened

Meta Platforms acquired Limitless AI, a developer of AI-powered wearable devices, specifically its pendant-style conversational recording and transcription device. Following the acquisition, Limitless ceased new customer sales but committed to supporting existing users for a minimum of one year, providing a complimentary Unlimited Plan. Concurrently, the Rewind application was sunsetted. Meta intends to integrate Limitless's technology into its expanding AI wearable portfolio, aligning with its strategy to operate over 1.3 million GPUs by late 2025.
