Snowflake customers can now use Claude to gain insights from both structured and unstructured data. Claude's models will be embedded in Snowflake Cortex AI, allowing users to query data using natural language prompts. This integration supports various data formats, including text, images, and SQL tables. Snowflake also plans to use Claude internally to improve engineering productivity and sales operations.
The partnership focuses on deploying AI agents across large enterprises, with a joint go-to-market initiative. It will enable enterprises to build custom data agents powered by Claude, ensuring accuracy and governance. Snowflake intends to roll out the integration in the United States and European markets in Q1 2026.
