What happened
Indian AI researcher Devendra Singh Chaplot, an IIT Bombay alumnus and former Mistral AI founding member, announced on March 13 his move to Elon Musk’s SpaceX and xAI. His background includes extensive research in embodied AI and autonomous systems from his Carnegie Mellon University PhD, and he previously developed high-efficiency large language models at Mistral AI.
