Google's AI Plus plan, offering a more accessible entry point to its AI tools, is now available in over 40 countries. Following a successful launch in Indonesia, the expansion aims to provide users in regions including Angola, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Egypt, Ghana, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Philippines, Senegal, Uganda, Vietnam and Zimbabwe with affordable access to enhanced AI capabilities.
The AI Plus plan includes higher usage limits for image generation and editing within the Gemini app, access to the Veo 3 video generation model, and Gemini integration across Gmail, Docs, and Sheets. Subscribers also receive 200GB of storage across Photos, Drive, and Gmail, which can be shared with up to five family members. Google is offering a 50% discount for the first six months to new subscribers.
