C3.ai has announced preliminary first-quarter revenue figures that fall significantly short of analyst predictions. The enterprise AI application software company estimates revenue between $70.2 million and $70.4 million for the quarter. Alongside the disappointing revenue, the company has restructured its sales and services organisation to try and boost growth.
The restructuring includes the appointment of Rob Schilling as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, along with new General Managers for EMEA and North America. These changes aim to improve customer engagement and sales efforts. The company is also searching for a new CEO. C3.ai held $711.9 million in cash and equivalents as of July 31, 2025.
C3.ai will provide further details on the financial results and fiscal 2026 guidance on September 3, 2025. The company aims to cut costs and strengthen its finances, with management expecting to achieve positive free cash flow next year.
