Nvidia is deepening its artificial intelligence collaborations with South Korean tech giants. CEO Jensen Huang's visit to South Korea highlights strengthened partnerships with Samsung, Hyundai, SK Group, and Naver. Nvidia plans to supply 260,000 GPUs to these companies and the Korean government, significantly boosting the nation's AI capabilities.
Samsung will receive 50,000 GPUs to build an AI megafactory, integrating AI into semiconductor manufacturing. They will leverage Nvidia's libraries to create digital twins, enhancing speed and yield in semiconductor production and developing next-gen home robots. Hyundai will also receive 50,000 GPUs for its AI factory, focusing on AI-driven mobility solutions and smart factories. SK Group will use 50,000 GPUs to build an AI cloud for manufacturing, incorporating digital twin technology for efficient semiconductor production. Naver will receive 60,000 GPUs to expand its AI infrastructure.
These partnerships aim to accelerate South Korea's AI development and transform its manufacturing sector. The collaborations will focus on vertical AI capabilities in manufacturing, leveraging South Korea's strengths in the field.
