Figure AI, a robotics company specialising in humanoid robots, has secured over $1 billion in funding, valuing the company at $39 billion. This Series C round was led by Parkway Venture Capital, with participation from Brookfield Asset Management, NVIDIA, Intel Capital and others.
The funding will accelerate the deployment of general-purpose humanoid robots into real-world environments. Figure AI plans to scale its Helix AI platform and BotQ manufacturing, building infrastructure with next-generation NVIDIA GPU clusters. The company is also launching advanced data collection initiatives to enhance robot perception, reasoning, and control.
Figure AI's robots are designed to work alongside humans in various settings, including homes, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, and retail. The company's robots can perform household tasks, collaborate with other robots, and adapt to new situations without manual programming.
