Nvidia aims to boost its sales in China following the lifting of the ban on its H20 chip. CEO Jensen Huang stated that the company is committed to 'accelerating recovery' in the region. Restarting the supply chain is expected to take approximately nine months.
The H20 chip, designed specifically for the Chinese market, was impacted by export restrictions. Nvidia anticipates a positive shift, now that it can resume sales. The company also plans to release a new RTX PRO GPU for digital twin AI applications in smart factories and logistics.
Analysts view Nvidia's return to the Chinese market as a significant advantage, enabling them to better compete with domestic companies. The US government has assured Nvidia that licenses will be granted, and Nvidia hopes to start deliveries soon. Huang noted the importance of American companies competing and serving the innovative Chinese market, home to half the world's AI researchers.
