AI bias can manifest in various ways, including image generation, content recommendation, insurance, and hiring processes. For example, image generators might underrepresent certain racial or cultural groups. Algorithms can also perpetuate echo chambers by showing politically biased content. In the insurance sector, algorithms could unfairly determine premiums based on zip codes, leading to higher costs for minority communities.
