Gamma, the AI-powered visual storytelling platform, has secured $68 million in Series B funding, achieving a valuation of $2.1 billion. Led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Accel and Uncork Capital, this round highlights Gamma's rapid growth and profitability. The company has surpassed $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) with a lean team of 50 employees, while maintaining profitability for over two years.
Gamma's platform has attracted 70 million users globally, who have collectively created over 400 million presentations, websites, and other visual assets. Over 1 million pieces of content are generated daily on the platform. Initially conceived as an AI-native alternative to PowerPoint, Gamma has evolved into a comprehensive visual storytelling tool. The latest version, Gamma 3.0, features an integrated AI design agent that transforms rough ideas and documents into polished presentations within minutes.
Gamma plans to use the new funding to accelerate product development and expand its team to meet increasing demand. The company's focus remains on redefining how individuals and teams create and share ideas visually, offering a user-friendly experience without requiring design expertise. A portion of the funding will also provide liquidity for early employees, recognising their contribution to Gamma's success.
