IBM and Anthropic have formed a strategic partnership to integrate Anthropic's Claude LLMs into IBM's software offerings. Over 6,000 early adopters within IBM are already utilising the new IDE, reporting an average productivity increase of 45 percent.
IBM has also created a guide, verified by Anthropic, focusing on the Agent Development Lifecycle (ADLC). This guide provides a structured approach to designing, deploying, and managing enterprise AI agents. The partnership aims to provide businesses with an enterprise-ready approach to AI agent development, operations, and security. IBM's shares rose following the announcement, highlighting the market's positive response to the collaboration.
