What happened
SUPCON will showcase six integrated technological pillars for autonomous operating plants at Hannover Messe 2026, running from April 20–24. These include Universal Control Systems (UCS), the TPT2 Universal AI Platform, Tier0 Industrial Data Platform, Advanced Physical Layer (APL) solutions, Autonomous Industrial Robots, and Hobré Intelligent Analysers. The portfolio aims to transition industrial facilities from automated to autonomous operations, using software-defined controls, cloud-native architecture, and industrial AI large models. Mercy Zhang, VP of R&D at SUPCON International Business, stated the company is outlining a roadmap to Autonomous Plants and Agentic Operations.
Why it matters
Industrial facilities gain enhanced efficiency and resilience through SUPCON's autonomous plant technologies, directly impacting operational expenditure and uptime for CTOs and plant managers. The Universal Control System's software-defined architecture reduces physical footprint and enhances flexibility, offering procurement teams new infrastructure investment options. Real-time data access via APL and AI-driven decision-making from the TPT2 platform enable operations teams to autonomously execute decisions, reducing reliance on manual sampling. This follows a broader industry trend of integrating AI into industrial processes.
