Nvidia's CEO, Jensen Huang, is promoting the idea of individual countries developing their own AI ecosystems. He envisions a future where AI infrastructure, much like the internet or electricity, becomes a necessity supported by specialised factories. Huang is advocating for these 'AI factories' to be built using Nvidia's technology.
Huang sees Taiwan playing a key role in the global technology ecosystem, not just building AI for the world, but also having AI built for Taiwan. Nvidia is partnering with Foxconn and the Taiwanese government to construct an AI factory supercomputer, providing state-of-the-art Nvidia Blackwell infrastructure to researchers, startups, and industries. Huang also highlighted China's rapid AI development, noting their deep engineering talent and robust research ecosystem.
Nvidia is working with multiple partners to deliver advanced infrastructure for AI operations. These alliances aim to offer the compute and networking backbone required for global AI rollouts, enabling enterprises, developers and public sector organisations to integrate advanced AI capabilities into their workflows.
