HappyRobot, an AI start-up specialising in automating freight operator communications, has secured $44 million in funding. The Series B round, led by Base10 Partners, saw participation from existing investors Andreessen Horowitz and Y Combinator, alongside new investors including Tokio Marine, WaVe-X, and World Innovation Lab.
HappyRobot's platform uses AI agents to handle tasks such as rate negotiation and appointment booking. These AI agents are designed to manage end-to-end tasks across communication channels, parse documents, browse the web, and enter data into backend systems. The company's technology integrates transcription, LLMs, voice generation, OCR, and browser automation with software integrations across TMS, ERP and CRM systems. The funding will be used to expand the company's engineering, go-to-market, and forward-deployed engineering teams.
This investment values HappyRobot at approximately $500 million. The company aims to streamline operations and information sharing within the logistics, freight, and customer support sectors by replacing manual workflows with AI.
