Accenture has announced an $865 million restructuring programme to refocus operations towards AI adoption. The plan includes employee severance and some divestitures. Savings from the restructuring will be invested in staff training and operational improvements.
The company is aiming to align its expertise in industry knowledge, technology, data and AI to provide comprehensive solutions. Accenture is consolidating its services under a new business unit called Reinvention Services to meet the demand for integrated AI solutions. This unit will merge strategy, tech, operations and creative services.
The consulting firm anticipates revenue growth of 2% to 5% in fiscal year 2026. Accenture is restructuring to integrate AI more effectively into its service delivery.
