The update introduces a collaborative whiteboard for brainstorming and document creation with text, images, GIFs and tables. An integrated AI assistant can summarise meetings, generate visuals, proofread text and create templates using handwriting, typing, sketches or voice commands.
The AI assistant analyses notebook content to provide context-aware responses, such as summarising legal documents or generating mathematical solutions. Users can share notebooks for joint editing, with live updates and simultaneous annotations. The app offers an infinite whiteboard mode, which is useful for complex project planning.
To support these features, Goodnotes is introducing Goodnotes Essentials and Goodnotes Pro subscription plans. These updates align with the growing trend of hybrid work environments, where real-time collaboration and intelligent assistance are essential.
