MarqVision, an AI-driven brand protection startup, has secured $48 million in Series B funding. The company utilises computer vision to detect and combat counterfeit products across online marketplaces and social media platforms. This latest funding round brings MarqVision's total funding to $90 million.
The investment will be used to expand MarqVision's AI and engineering teams, accelerating automation and integrating generative AI into its product suite. A portion of the funds will support enterprise readiness, enabling the company to serve larger brands, and facilitate regional expansion, with a focus on Japan.
MarqVision's platform helps brands protect their intellectual property by identifying and removing counterfeit listings. The rise of e-commerce has fuelled the growth of counterfeit markets, making brand protection increasingly critical.
