Parallel's primary offering is the Deep Research API, designed to enable AI agents to conduct extensive online research. The company asserts its API outperforms both humans and leading AI models, such as GPT-5, on specific research benchmarks. This technology facilitates AI's ability to gather, process, and organise web content efficiently, which is vital for applications requiring real-time data analysis. Parallel's infrastructure is designed to allow AI to interact with the internet in real time.
Parallel's Deep Research API incorporates eight research engines tailored for specific computational activities, including long-form synthesis, cross-disciplinary analysis, and knowledge retrieval. The platform already powers millions of daily research tasks, automating workflows for various companies. Potential applications span financial analysis, coding assistance, and AI-driven sales agents.
