Google has announced the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, featuring a new gearless hinge mechanism for enhanced durability and a refined design. Priced at $1,799, the foldable boasts a larger 6.4-inch outer display with reduced bezels and an 8-inch inner display, both with peak brightness of 3,000 nits.
Durability is a key focus, with Google claiming the new hinge is twice as durable as its predecessor. The device achieves an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, a first for foldable phones. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is powered by the Tensor G5 chip and offers 16GB of RAM, with storage options up to 1TB. It also features a 5,015mAh battery with fast charging and Qi2 wireless charging support. The camera system includes a 48MP primary sensor, a 10.5MP ultrawide lens, and a 10.8MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold runs Android 16 and is promised to receive seven years of OS updates, security patches and Pixel drops. Available in Moonstone and Jade colours, it weighs 258g and measures 10.8mm when folded. The device is available for pre-order and will ship from October 9.
