Anthropic has introduced an analytics dashboard for Claude Code, its AI coding assistant, offering engineering leaders insights into developer productivity and AI investment ROI. The dashboard tracks metrics such as AI-generated lines of code accepted, the frequency of code saves and change requests, and per-developer AI usage costs. This allows administrators to monitor team AI usage, assess code generation effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement.
Claude Code integrates directly into the user's terminal, enabling faster analysis of locally hosted codebases. Since the launch of the newest Claude models in late May 2025, Claude Code's user base has increased by 300%, and run-rate revenue has grown by over 5.5x. Companies using Claude Code include Rakuten, Figma, and Intercom.
The new analytics dashboard helps organisations understand developer usage patterns, track productivity metrics and optimise Claude Code adoption. It provides visibility into what developer teams are working on in real-time, including lines of code accepted, tool usage rates, user activity breakdowns, and cost tracking per user.
