Anthropic has launched Claude Gov, a custom suite of AI models designed exclusively for U.S. national security customers. These models are already deployed within top-level national security agencies, offering enhanced performance for critical government needs. Claude Gov delivers improved handling of classified materials, deeper understanding of intelligence and defence contexts, enhanced proficiency in critical languages, and better interpretation of cybersecurity data. This initiative underscores Anthropic's commitment to delivering responsible and safe AI solutions tailored for classified environments, addressing the unique demands of the U.S. national security sector. Anthropic is collaborating with partners like Palantir and AWS to expand its presence in the defence sector, amid similar moves by other AI labs such as OpenAI, Meta, and Google.
