Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., a key partner for Nvidia, has reported an 11% increase in quarterly sales, reaching NT$2.06 trillion (US$67.8 billion). This growth signals robust demand for AI infrastructure, particularly for the chips and servers required for AI development.
The company's strong performance is driven by increased investment in AI server and chip suppliers. Hon Hai expects its server revenue to more than double in the third quarter, while its consumer electronics business remains flat. The company is expanding AI server production at its campuses in Wisconsin and Texas.
Hon Hai's overall revenue for the first nine months of the year totalled NT$5.5 trillion, a 16.27% year-on-year increase. The company anticipates continued quarterly growth, fueled by increasing AI server shipments and the traditional peak season for ICT products.
