Eightfold.ai's co-founders have launched Viven, an AI digital twin startup, securing $35 million in seed funding led by Khosla Ventures and Foundation Capital. Viven is developing AI digital twin technology designed to allow employees to query virtual representations of colleagues, even when they are unavailable.

The AI digital twins learn from an employee's past digital interactions, including emails, documents, and meetings, to provide instant access to knowledge and expertise. This aims to improve workplace efficiency and reduce knowledge loss, which is estimated to cost businesses billions annually. Viven's platform uses proprietary AI models trained on individual employee data, ensuring personalised assistance while maintaining privacy.

The founders' experience at Eightfold.ai, a talent intelligence company valued at $2.1 billion, has informed Viven's focus on addressing knowledge retention challenges in rapidly growing tech organisations. Viven's digital twins promise to accelerate onboarding and preserve critical context, enabling employees to focus on creativity and leadership.
