Salesforce is initiating its $500 million investment plan in Saudi Arabia, aimed at boosting AI adoption within the Kingdom. This commitment involves building a local team and introducing key technologies like Hyperforce, delivered in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Hyperforce will enable Salesforce's global customer base to run workloads locally, adhering to regional data regulations.
The investment also focuses on workforce development, with plans to upskill 30,000 Saudi citizens in AI by 2030, with a particular emphasis on increasing women's participation. Salesforce intends to partner with Princess Nourah University (PNU) in Riyadh to provide AI-focused learning opportunities for female students. This initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 goals for inclusive growth and digital transformation.
Salesforce will collaborate with firms like Deloitte, Capgemini, Globant, IBM, and PwC to expand the reach of its AI-driven customer service platform, Agentforce. The company also plans to introduce Arabic language support for its AI product suite. This investment signifies Salesforce's commitment to the Middle Eastern AI and cloud market, positioning it to capture a significant share in a region with high digital transformation potential.
