Qualified researchers can apply for API credits, with selection based on their contributions to science, the potential impact of their research, and AI's ability to accelerate their work. Anthropic is particularly interested in applications where AI can assist in understanding complex biological systems, analysing genetic data, accelerating drug discovery, increasing agricultural productivity, and addressing global disease burdens. Selected researchers may receive up to $20,000 per month in API usage credits.
