Nuclearn has secured $10.5 million in Series A funding to advance its AI-driven solutions for the nuclear industry. The company's platform automates labour-intensive tasks such as condition report coding, CAP screening, trend detection, and safety documentation. Nuclearn's AI is designed to improve the efficiency and safety of nuclear operations by acting as a 'junior employee' to automate routine paperwork.
Nuclearn's flagship product, Gamma2, is a 32-billion parameter large language model (LLM) designed for nuclear power. Gamma2 helps utilities reduce operational costs by automating tasks and improving operational insight. It has been deployed across 23 reactors, cutting troubleshooting and document development time by up to 98%. The AI platform supports secure deployments across various environments and offers features like audit trails and real-time QA tools.
By automating processes, Nuclearn aims to address labour shortages and support the increasing demand for nuclear energy. The company's AI tools enable nuclear plants to run more efficiently, reduce costs, and maintain reactor viability.
