Ola's AI venture, Krutrim, has undertaken a third round of layoffs, primarily affecting its linguistics team, as part of a broader restructuring effort. The restructuring occurs as Krutrim focuses on building its Krutrim 3 LLM, a large language model with multibillion parameters. Krutrim had previously launched its AI assistant, Kruti, after which a significant portion of training was completed, reducing the need for a large linguistics team.
