Salesforce, ServiceNow Invests in Genesys

31 July 2025

Salesforce and ServiceNow are reportedly in advanced discussions to invest approximately $750 million each in Genesys Cloud Services. This combined $1.5 billion investment would value Genesys, an AI-powered customer contact centre software provider, at around $15 billion.

Genesys specialises in AI software designed to automate customer service through scheduling, summarisation, and predictive capabilities. The investment aims to bolster Genesys's position in the 'Experience as a Service' market. Both Salesforce and ServiceNow previously invested in Genesys in 2021.

The deal, which could be announced imminently, marks a rare instance of competing enterprise software firms backing the same company. Genesys orchestrates over 70 billion customer experiences annually for organisations across more than 100 countries.
