Reconova Technologies Co., a Chinese AI firm specialising in visual perception technology, is reportedly planning an initial public offering in Hong Kong. The IPO could happen as early as this year. Reconova focuses on computer vision and machine learning, possessing core technologies in these fields. Intel Capital is among the company's investors.
Reconova has a presence in over 150 cities, with three R&D centres and over 50 industry awards. The company integrates front-end smart hardware with back-end data analysis, serving over 1,000 clients in China's smart retail and airport sectors. Reconova's technology supports the evolution of traditional industries by embedding machine vision algorithms into AI solutions.
With the IPO, Reconova aims to further expand its AI industry deployment, increase market share and strengthen its industry leadership position.
